Founder DirectorAbhinav Mathur is the Founder and Chairman of Million Sparks Foundation (MSF).
He worked for twenty-four years in leadership roles in large Multi National Corporations. He ran cutting edge innovative global businesses in areas such as Mobility, Telecommunications, Financial Technology, Entertainment, Health Care and Education. He has co-founded Million Sparks Foundation in 2015 to give back to society by contributing to the Education Space. Abhinav is a PhD from Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, an MBA from Indian Institute of Management Lucknow, and Bachelors in Engineering from NSIT Delhi.
Abhinav has setup several startups as a part of one of the world’s first technology incubators. He serves on the board of several high growth companies, advises startups for growth, and is an avid angel investor.
Dr. Mona Mathur
Founder CEOMona Mathur is the Founder and CEO of Million Sparks Foundation (MSF).
Mona is extremely passionate educationist and has been teaching for the past 29 years at both the K12 and Engineering Levels. She continues to be an adjunct faculty at Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi. While working with STMicroelectronics in their Advanced Systems Technology Group, she led their industry academia partnership initiative to setup a joint research lab at IIT Delhi. Mona is a PhD in the area of Neuro Computing and Machine Learning, Masters in Technology from IIT Delhi, and Bachelors in Engineering from NSIT Delhi.
Mona has advised and contributed to several startups and non-profit organization in the area of Education.
Jeetendra Singh
‘JS’ (as Jeetendra is fondly called) has deep and extensive knowledge of developing and scaling mission critical products and services. He is contributing his time and energy to improve the architecture of the platforms being built by the Million Sparks Foundation. He is passionate about the User Experience and keeps a keen eye on the ChalkLit users feedbacks
JS had been initially focused in domains such as VAS, Telecom and Lawful Interception of Networks. For the last few years, he has been actively involved in the mobile apps and e-commerce space. Apart from co-founding a startup, he is also an independent technology consultant helping a few startups realize their product vision through technology.
An avid sportsman and a spontaneous traveller, he loves pushing boundaries ‘in the field’ or ‘on the road’

Anchra Madan
As a relationship manager, Anchra works on increasing training coverage across cities at Million Sparks Foundation. As a member of the outreach team, she is also responsible for improving training efficacy, execution and all-round user experience.
A former fellow at the Teach for India, Anchra has extensive experience in student and teacher capacity building and has, in the past, worked with the Delhi government to improve the quality of teaching in government schools.
In her free time, Anchra enjoys sports. She is a corporate level football and squash player, and has also successfully organized and coached girls sporting teams at a government school.

Ankit oli
Ankit Oli works as the Social Media Associate at Million Sparks Foundation. He is looking after all the content translations, curation or sees user engagement by creating wall post for them. He has completed his BTech in Civil Engineering from Graphic Era Hill University, Bhimtal. He also possesses knowledge of AutoCAD and some basic of site knowledge too.

Ankit Yadav is a content associate at Million Sparks Foundation. He has done his B.Ed from State Council Of Educational Research And Training, Delhi and did his graduation in B.Sc Mathematics from the University of Delhi. He has worked as an intern in various government schools, which not only gave him experience for life but also served as an eye opener towards the condition and needs of refinement in the education system.
He is a firm believer of giving equal opportunities to each learner so that no one feels left out in a classroom. He believes in a student-centric approach of teaching and tries to develop activities and ideas which will enhance the experience of learning as well as teaching. In his leisure time, he loves to watch or play cricket and likes to explore new places.

Deepak Joshi
Deepak is heading the Monitoring and Evaluation vertical and the Training team at MSF. After his B-tech from GB Pant University, Deepak joined Tata Motors where he analyzed and improved processes to finalize pricing with the Vendors. He stepped in the education sector as a Teach for India Fellow, teaching students in an MCD school for two years. Meanwhile, he also founded an initiative called Teenage Footprints, where he ran character building workshops in Delhi private schools. Over the past several years, he has worked on student leadership, organized leadership conferences for educators and government officials, and personally coached more than 500 teachers. Prior to MSF, he was at Cuemath, where he headed their training for Bangalore and Hyderabad and designed their training framework for more than 20K teachers.

Devika manages the Outreach efforts of Million Sparks Foundation for the state of Goa. She brings 11+ years of professional experience in the field of social work, education and mental health and holds a Master’s Degree in Industrial & Advanced Counselling Psychology.

She is passionate about social work and dedicates her free time in counselling and welfare initiatives for the community in need through Mangaldas Social Welfare Foundation founded by her. She loves reading, listening to music, poetry, singing and also does psychic reading and healing practices.

Divya combines art and technology to create and maintain the visual brand at Million Sparks Foundation. She is the graphic designer and on-demand design support for content, outreach and marketing teams at the organization. She has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Applications and is a certified graphic and web designer. She has 5+ years of experience in designing advertisements, catalogues, newsletters, presentations, 2-D motion ads, corporate communications and corporate identity. Her work received national recognition in multimedia category at 24 FPS, an annual competition organized by MAAC.

Gaurav Shukla has joined as VP Operations in MSF Team. Gaurav has 14 years of work experience in Operations and Supply Chain Management with Indian Air Force and IT/ BPO industry.
He joined Indian Air Force in 2003 as an Engineering Officer and has undertaken diverse assignments at bases spread all across the country.
He did his MBA from Indian Institute of Management Lucknow post his stint with the IAF.

Mandeep Shembi
Mandeep works as a Training Associate and handles online teacher training. She has done her B.Tech in ECE from ABES Engineering College. She has joined Million Sparks Foundation after 6 months of working with Tech Mahindra. In her free time, she loves to read and grooving to the music.

Namrata is heading the Human Resource and also handling administration, accounts, purchase and inventory at Million Sparks Foundation.
She is a triple masters, Masters in English literature, Masters in History, Masters in Business Administration and also LLB. She has studied Human Psychology, Industrial Psychology, and Child Psychology during her graduation that gave her the insight to understand and analyse human behaviour.
With 8 years of work experience in hiring for the positions like VP, CFO, CTO, AVP, Managers for India and for overseas. She has also worked as Training Head (internal and external trainings).
She has participated in several National Social Service & NCC Camps. She enjoys interacting with different people and diligently offers a helping hand to the people in need.
Pankaj Agrawal
Pankaj leads the technical development and server management efforts at MSF and in a nut shell is the hardcore technical guy.
He has an experience with various technologies and feels very strongly about the work he puts in. He has vast amount of experience in the Internet and Telecom domain, and has worked on open sourced SIP Stacks, Rating, Billing and Mediation, Customer On boarding & Management. His exposure to multiple technologies includes various client side technologies, server side technologies, database management systems, operating systems.
Pankaj has worked for organizations like Ascent Telecom & Spice Labs. At Spice Labs he was exposed to Mobile handset application development.Pankaj is an MCA from MJP Rohilkhand University and has 13 years of experience
Parul Jauhari
Parul Jauhari comes from a science background with a post-graduate degree in Biotechnology. Her journey in the education/development sector started as a Teach For India fellow, followed by being the Content Lead at Meraki. Both the roles demanded an in-depth understanding of pedagogy and user-centric instructional designing. To delve deeper into the aspect of user-centricity and contextualization, she is now pursuing a course in Psychology. As Product Lead- Wall at Million Sparks Foundation, she utilizes all this knowledge and experience in creating products tailored to consumers' psychology and technical needs.

Rohit Kumar
Rohit Kumar is from Patna (Bihar). He is Bachelor of Engineering and have been working in IT as a Software Tester from more than 4 years. He loves to spend quality time with close friends and family. He lilkes visiting new places and soaking in the place's culture and enjoining local cuisines. He loves riding motorcycles which is his preferable mode of transport for hitting tourist spots.He is straight-forward, truthful, honest and spontaneous. Shalmali holds a Master's degree in Opto-electronic and laser technology, after working as a project assistant in a DAE's center for 1 year she decided to switch her path to follow her passion. She is handling dual responsibilities for Chhattisgarh, working as a Relationship manager to get aligned with stakeholder's of the state to understand their requirements, also works as Training Lead and ensures to execute and achieve better engagement of teachers throughout the state efficiently, Meanwhile, she also handles state channel.

Nidhi Manchanda
Nidhi is a member of the Monitoring and Impact Evaluation Team at Million Sparks Foundation. She is an engineer by profession and an educator by choice. After completing her engineering degree in Computer Science, she worked with the risk advisory practice of Deloitte US India Offices, where she developed her interest and skills in the domain of data analytics. She was also actively engaged in the CSR initiatives of the firm and her experiences while actively engaging in all the CSR activities pushed her to join the development sector full time as a Teach For India Fellow. During her two year fellowship, she taught math and science to 140+ girls in a low-income government school in Delhi. She took various initiatives within the community and school to ensure the holistic development of her students.
In the long-term, she wishes to utilize her data analytics skills to empower non-profit organizations working in the education sector. She firmly believes in the power data holds and is a strong advocate of using data to make strategic decisions. Disha has joined Million Sparks Foundation as a Content Specialist. Earlier, she held an administrative position in Ripples Learning Campus, Telangana, wherein she guided and assisted the teachers to familiarize them with new pedagogy and make the teaching-learning process more effective.

Abatis Aye Singla
An educationist, a teacher by heart, and a firm believer of "Education is a tool to build a progressive, respectable and peaceful society". During my experience of more than 11 years, got an opportunity to work with students across all grades from Nursery to Twelfth with different socio - economic backgrounds. Working on different administrative positions during the tenure, guided teachers and trained them to achieve the desired learning outcomes from their students. Being a post graduate with Physics, science is always close to my heart and likes to spend my leisure time in reading new advancements in the field of science and education.

Ashish Dhawan is the Founder and Chairman of Central Square Foundation (CSF). He worked for twenty years in the investment management business and ran one of India’s leading private equity funds, ChrysCapital. In June 2012, he left his full time role at ChrysCapital to start CSF. Ashish is an MBA with distinction from Harvard University and a dual bachelor’s (BS/BA) holder with Magna Cum Laude honours from Yale University. Dr. Santanu Chaudhury currently the Schlumberger Chair Professor at the Department of Electrical Engneering along with being the Dean, UGS at I.I.T Delhi. He is also a Professor at Electrical Engneering Department, I.I.T, Delhi, President, Board of Students Publications & Coordinator, Thrust Area on Real time Embedded Systems.
He recieved his Ph.D in Computer Science Engineering from IIT Kharagpur. He was a fellow at the Indian National Academy of Engineers, National Academy of Sciences and have been a recipient of the prestigious INSA Medal for Young Scientists in 1993.
His contribution in the curriculum development has been in designing the complete curriculum and development of course material for a certificate course on “Embedded Systems and Applications” for working professionals. The course is being run (5 times) successfully under the aegis of FITT, I.I.T, Delhi. He has also been instrumental in developing a video lecture series on “Embedded Systems” with support from ETSC under NPTEL program.

His contribution in the curriculum development has been in designing the complete curriculum and development of course material for a certificate course on “Embedded Systems and Applications” for working professionals. The course is being run (5 times) successfully under the aegis of FITT, I.I.T, Delhi. He has also been instrumental in developing a video lecture series on “Embedded Systems” with support from ETSC under NPTEL program.
Kamla Bhasin
Adviser, Sangat, JAGORI
A social scientist by training, Kamla Bhasin has been actively engaged with issues related to development, gender, education, media and others since 1970. Currently, she works with Sangat – A Feminist Network as Adviser as well as JAGORI, A Women’s Resource and Training Centre and Jagori Rural Charitable Trust as an active member. She is the South Asia Coordinator of One Billion Rising, a global campaign to end violence against women and girls; Co-Chair of the worldwide network Peace Women Across the Globe; and member of South Asians for Human Rights (SAHR). Prior to this, she worked with the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations for 27 years.

Her main work is at the South Asian level, and has included capacity building of South Asian and other young activists and networking amongst civil society organizations in South Asia. She has also been conducting gender sensitization workshops for senior non-governmental organization leaders and managers, government officials, police personnel, and members of Parliament in various countries in South Asia.

Dr. Anubha Gupta is working as Associate Professor and UG Program Chair at IIIT-Delhi. She received her B.Tech and M.Tech from Delhi University, India in 1991 and 1997 in Electronics and Communication Engineering. She received her PhD. from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Delhi, India in 2006 in Electrical Engineering. She did her second Master’s as a full time student from the University of Maryland, College Park, USA from 2008-2010 in Education with concentration: Higher Education Leadership and Policy Studies. She worked as Assistant Director with the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Govt. of India (through Indian Engineering Services) from 1993 to 1999 and, as faculty at NSIT-Delhi (2000-2008) and IIIT-Hyderabad (2011-2013), India. She worked as the Director of Assessment in the office of the Provost at Bowie State University, Maryland, USA during 2009-11. She has published 50+ papers research papers in international and national journals of repute and continues to guide several PhD and MTech students.
Dr. Gupta is a senior member of IEEE Signal processing Society and a member of IEEE Women in Engineering Society. She is Associate Editor of IEEE Access journal.
